Web Developer Intern

falconet · Learn to build for the web

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Web Developer Intern to help us build and improve our web applications. You'll learn modern front-end development hands-on, pair with senior engineers, and ship code that real users see, in a friendly, fast-moving team.

What You'll Do

  • Build small features in our codebase using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React under guidance.
  • Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible UI components.
  • Fix bugs, polish UI, and improve copy on existing pages.
  • Test your work across browsers and devices before opening a pull request.
  • Pair-program with senior developers and learn from code reviews.
  • Shadow the team's sprint planning, demos, and post-mortems to understand how real software is shipped.

What You Bring

  • A strong curiosity about how websites and web apps actually work.
  • Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (a personal project, course, or tutorial work all counts).
  • Comfort using a modern browser's devtools to inspect elements and read console errors.
  • Eagerness to learn React and TypeScript on the job.
  • Clear written communication so you can describe what you did and what's blocking you.
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree/diploma in CS, IT, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • A personal portfolio, a GitHub profile, or a small website you built and can show us.
  • Beginner exposure to React, Next.js, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Familiarity with Git basic clone, commit, push, pull-request flow.
  • Curiosity about UI/UX design, accessibility, or performance.
